- Improved ease of use and portability with addition of aluminum foil packaging -
ARKRAY, Inc. (hereafter, 'ARKRAY') shall expand the line-up for the BG Sensor, which is a sensor for use with the dedicated blood glucose analyzer PocketChem BG PG-7320 for blood glucose measurements in medical institutions. In response to the needs of medical practitioners, a variation incorporating aluminum foil packaging has been added for improved functionality such as ease of use and portability, in addition to the conventional bottled product. Each sensor is individually packaged with desiccant-coated aluminum foil, serving to minimize the effects of humidity and enabling use of the product with peace of mind right up until the expiration date of the sensor.
ARKRAY shall continue to endeavor for the development of products that ensure ease of use for medical practitioners in order to further support the front line of diabetes treatment and guidance.
• Long-term stability
Each sensor is protected with desiccant-coated aluminum foil packaging. With minimal influence of humidity, the sensor can be used right up until its individual expiration date.
*Bottled sensors must be used within 6 months after opening, regardless of the expiration date.
• Improved ease of use
With each sensor packaged in easy-to-open aluminum foil, the sensors are easier to take out in comparison to bottled products.
• Convenience of portability
With the sensors packaged in non-bulky and compact aluminum foil sachets, they present a more convenient means of portability as the user can choose to carry only as many as needed.
